What happens after you book, in order
The part most travel sites go quiet about. Here is what you receive, when, what we watch on your behalf, and what happens when an airline moves your flight.
An independent travel agency. Not an airline, not owned by one, and not affiliated with any carrier — no airline or supplier pays for placement anywhere on this site.
A person prices the itinerary, states the total before anything is charged, and stays on the file afterwards. Desk hours are published on the contact page — we do not claim to be open around the clock.

Your flight request is ready for a live advisor
We have your search. Call now and an advisor will price it in full — base fare, taxes, carrier charges and any service fee as one number — and read you the rules before you pay.
What you pay, broken into its parts
Most travel sites show one number and explain it afterwards. Here is the whole of it, before you are anywhere near a payment page.
From payment to departure
Our fees, in full
This is the whole list. There is no second list, and nothing here is revealed at checkout.
| What | Zeptotravel charge | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Exchange or reissue | $35 – $85 per ticket | Airline penalty and fare difference are separate, and quoted separately |
| Cancellation and refund processing | $35 per ticket | Nothing inside the DOT 24-hour window |
| Name correction | $25 per ticket | Where the carrier permits it; their charge is separate |
| Seat or baggage added after ticketing | $15 per request | The airline’s own charge is separate |
| Quotes, price checks, general questions | No charge | Including telling you a published online fare is cheaper |
| Schedule-change monitoring and involuntary rebooking | No charge | If the airline moves you, protecting you is free |
Agency fees are separate from any airline penalty or fare difference, and we always identify which is which. Full detail on the service fee schedule.
What we never charge for
Quotes and price checks, including telling you a published online fare beats what we can offer. General questions about baggage, fare rules or entry requirements. Schedule-change monitoring. Involuntary rebooking. Cancellation inside the DOT 24-hour window. Filing a denied-boarding or delay compensation claim you are entitled to. Accessibility and mobility assistance requests. And correcting our own error — if we made the mistake, fixing it is free and any supplier cost arising from it is ours.
Questions worth asking
How quickly will I get my ticket?
Usually within the hour. Some fares require manual ticketing and take longer; where that applies we say so on the call rather than after it.
Who will appear on my card statement?
Zeptotravel LLC. Where a carrier takes payment directly we tell you which charges reach us and which reach them.
The airline changed my flight time. What are my rights?
It depends on how significant the change is and what the carrier’s own policy says. A material schedule change frequently entitles you to a rebooking or a refund. We assess it and tell you which applies — that assessment costs nothing.
Can I speak to the same person who booked it?
That is the intent — one advisor owns the file. Desk hours are published on the contact page, and outside them the airline’s disruption line is genuinely the faster route.
Have it priced by a person
You hear the total, the rules and the fee before anything is charged — and if booking direct with the airline is better for your trip, we will tell you that instead.
